Gaines Adams (June 8, 1983 – January 17, 2010) was a Professional football player for the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League, Adams was 26 years old when he died of cardiac arrest.

Adams played defensive end for the Chicago Bears in 2009, and for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2007 to 2009..
